Children will be immersed in a world of singing, dancing, and acting during this summer workshop experience. All participants will learn the fundamental skills of creating, practicing and performing in a 70 minute musical. During the workshop participants will be preparing and rehearsing for the show Aladdin Jr through various classes and activities.

Aladdin Jr is a stage version of Disney's original movie of Aladdin. It contains many of the songs from the original movie including "Friend Like Me" and "A Whole New World." Each day will include training in singing, dancing and acting. Students will be divided into various age groups. Each participant will be provided with musical tracks and scripts.

The performance of Aladdin Jr will be on Saturday, August 2 at the McAllen Civic Center Auditorium.

A complete workshop schedule will be provided at the time of enrollment. There is a minimal registration fee of $40 for the entire workshop so miss out on this great opportunity.

In order to accommodate vacation schedules, the workshop will be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday through June and July, with exception of July 4. That will make it possible for all participants to join their families on vacation without missing too much of the workshop.

A morning adult fitness program is held each morning, Monday through Friday. The program is well suited for those who want to get back in shape or stay in shape. Both men and women will love it. This is a fun yet serious workout program for adults who wish to improve their physical well being. Enjoy Pilates and yoga-based alignment exercises, the cardio pace of jazz and hip-hop, the control and flexibility of ballet exercises, the heat of salsa and merengue and the balance and strength of belly dance.
