Five spacious studios Our facility includes five spacious, studios, ranging in size from 900 sq. ft. to 4500 sq. ft. Each studio is climate controlled and has appropriate floors, mirrors and dance barres. |

Dance Conservatory of McAllen is located at 4320 N. Bicentennial, two blocks behind the International Museum of Arts & Science. The facility includes five spacious, air conditioned studios. The largest studio also functions as an in-house theatre where we showcase the students at intimate performances several times a year. We also have an ample lobby area, large dressing rooms and , coming soon, a café with your favorite beverages, healthy snacks, wi-fi, and closed circuit TV monitors. |

Flooring Each dance studio has an appropriate surface floor and sub floor for the style of dancing taught in that area. The surface floor provides the proper resistance or friction . Our floors include The sub-floor provides the resilience or spring to help protect the dancers' muscles and joints from injury. Both are necessary to ensure a healthy, safe environment. The surface floor in three of our studios is vinyl often referred to as a "Marley" floor. Our gym has wall-to-wall, two inch carpet-bonded foam while our tap and Latin dance studio has a hardwood floor. Our sub-floor is a sprung floor , which is suspended by thin wood channels above the foundation to provide the resistance and give that dancers need. |

In-house Theatre Our largest studio also functions as an in-house theatre with a full-size performance floor , backdrop railing, lighting and surround sound. Risers and other seating provide adequate viewing for up to 150 people |

Climate controlled costume & prop storage In an effort to make performance participation affordable for all students, we have amassed a large collection of costumes and props, which we maintain on-site. |

Student dressing rooms & lounge area Separate dressing areas are available for male and female students and comfortable lounge areas are accessible for homework or relaxation between classes. |

Studio Café coming soon Remodeling is underway to prepare for a studio café with a menu that will feature hot and cold beverages, protein drinks, healthy snacks and light meals for students and their parents. In the seating areas we will have closed-circuit TV monitors which will provide a view of the students classes. |
